Our oldest granddaughter, Rylee, has coined the phrase ‘all day long’ whenever she really likes something. For instance, the first time she said it was when she turned 4. Keith and I were trying to sway her birthday dinner choice and she said,’ Papa, don’t you know I love chicken express, all day long!’ So, 2 years later we still use that phrase whenever we think something is the best of the best. Nothing better than a hot, black cup of coffee…all day long! Keith is the love of my life, all day long! Anytime someone says I like ‘whatever’, we end it with ‘all day long.’ Earlier this week I was reading in Psalm 25 and came across this:
Now I realize in this verse that ‘all day long’ means just that, all day long….but I prefer to mean ‘the best of the best’.
‘God, I put my hope in you, all day long!’
