This makes me think of the song from Sunday school…I am a promise, I am a possibility, I am a promise, with a capital P….I am a great big bundle of potentiality.And I am learning to hear God’s voice and I am trying to make the right choice, I am a promise to be anything God wants me to be. (are you singing it with me?) Go for it…you are a promise…an original and priceless!
For you created my inmost being; you knit me
together in my mother’s womb.
God has known me from the moment I was conceived and he wants me to bloom into who He created me to be. (Priceless) I know there are days when I struggle with poor choices I’ve made, but I come back to this scripture and remember that I was put here by him and for him. (Original) God is the greatest artist and is in the restoration business.
We are God’s masterpiece, we are an original and priceless and he is continually restoring us back to who He created us to be. We shouldn’t allow the things of our past to keep Him from completing his work in us. You (and I) have such promise and potential and have probably only touched the surface of what He has planned for us.
Happy Hump Day!
Yet you, Lord, are our Father.
We are the clay, you are the potter;
we are all the work of your hand.
